SHOCKER: Drag Race Icon TAKES OVER! You Won't BELIEVE Who's Hosting!

The countdown is on for the premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race season 18, and a familiar, delightfully acerbic face will be guiding viewers through the aftermath. A true icon of the competition is returning to helm the official recap series, *The Pit Stop*.

Bianca Del Rio, the sharp-tongued champion of season six back in 2014, is reclaiming her throne as host. She previously captivated audiences with her signature brand of hilarious commentary during seasons 15 and All Stars 8 in 2023, and is poised to deliver more unfiltered opinions.

This transition marks the end of Monet X Change’s run, who skillfully hosted *The Pit Stop* for seasons 17 and All Stars 10. Bianca steps in, promising a return to the playfully cutting critiques fans have come to adore.

“I’m excited to be back hosting *The Pit Stop* and giving everyone my sweet, kind and thoughtful critiques,” Bianca quipped, a clear indication of the delightful chaos to come. She playfully warned, “No one will be safe… not even Michelle Visage!”

Next year will be a milestone for *The Pit Stop*, celebrating a decade since its debut in 2016. What began as a weekly YouTube review of season eight, hosted by Kingsley, has blossomed into a Drag Race institution.

Over the years, *The Pit Stop* has showcased a rotating cast of beloved queens, including Trixie Mattel, Bob The Drag Queen, and Alaska. Each week, the main host is joined by another alum to dissect the drama and artistry of the latest episode.

The lineup of queens who will join Bianca Del Rio for season 18 remains a closely guarded secret, adding to the anticipation. Fans are already speculating about who will brave her witty barbs alongside her.

RuPaul’s Drag Race season 18 is set to launch on January 2nd, airing on MTV in the US and WOW Presents Plus internationally. New episodes will arrive every Friday, with *The Pit Stop* following on YouTube each Saturday.

Since her triumphant win in 2014, Bianca Del Rio has solidified her status as a Drag Race legend. Beyond the runway, she’s a successful stand-up comedian and actor, with appearances in projects like *Everybody’s Talking About Jamie* and *Bad Education*.

In 2019, Bianca broke barriers by becoming the first drag queen to perform at London’s prestigious Wembley Arena with her stand-up show, *It’s Jester Joke*. This cemented her place not just within the Drag Race world, but in entertainment history.
